Scrapbooking

I have always loved scrapbooking! It has been a hobby and passion of mine for a long tme! I have so many scrapbooking tools but my absolute favorite is my cricut!

This is the Cricut Personal Machine that I have had for three years. It is used to cut out letters and shapes for scrapbooking. It can do so many things and I love making things with it! For Christmas, my wonderful husband got me the bigger Cricut that I have been asking for for a couple years! This is it!

This Cricut will cut pages that are 12 x 12 so I can cut bigger letters and shapes out! I LOVE IT!! I have used it so much since I got it! I finished Whitney's scrapbook that starts during my pregnancy and goes through her first Christmas! I am so proud of it! Here are some of the pages from it! I couldn't put them all or this would be the longest blog post ever!

I am so glad that I have done this and I started her 2011 album this weekend!!! Mrs. LAH came to hang out with us and scrapbook!!! We had so much fun!!! I will post pictures from our day together soon!!!

Pregnancy

No I'm not pregnant again but there are some things about being pregnant that I loved:

1. Not having to worry about my clothes being too tight


2. Being able to eat when and what I wanted.... because I was feeding the baby!


3. Feeling her move....I see and feel her move now but it's different


4. Being able to take naps all the time and not feel guilty


5. The thought of bringing a life into this world....amazing!

I had some maternity pictures taken and I will have them taken the next time I am pregnant too! My cousin, Beverly came to my house and took these! They are wonderful! She is such an amazing photographer!

Some people hate being pregnant but I actually loved it! It was some of the best 9 months of my life! Can't wait to have this experience again.....well, I can wait about 2 years....when Whitney is about 2 years old!

FRIDAY

Kyle has to take the GACE tomorrow but we plan on spending the evening with our daughter! Then we are going to Ellijay Sunday to see my dad's side of the family!

Things that make me happy....

9. Chick-fil-a Chicken Minis - don't get them often though
10. Chick-fil-a Cookies and Cream Milkshake

There are so many things that make me happy....these are just a few things!! I will update you later on more of these things!!

MOMMY

Being a mom is something that I have always dreamed about! Now the time has come that my dream is coming true! I have a beautiful baby girl, Whitney Reece Gourley, and have loved every minute with her! Someone once told me that "having children is like watching your heart walk outside of your body!" I now know what she means. Whitney is my heart!!! Every second with her is amazing....even the sleepless nights, less alone time with my husband, less time to myself, and stinky diapers. She has only been here for 9 weeks, but I cannot imagine my life without her!! I am looking forward to watching her grow and experience life!! She is my world now and I love her with all my heart!!

Real Friends

The difference between a simple friend and a real friend:

• A simple friend, when visiting, acts like a guest. A real friend opens your refrigerator and helps himself and doesn't even feel the least bit weird shutting you "Coke drawer" with his foot.
  


• A simple friend has never seen you cry. A real friend's shoulder is soggy from your tears.




• A simple friend doesn't know your parents' first names. A real friend has their phone numbers in their address book.



• A simple friend brings a bottle of wine to your party. A real friend comes early to help you cook and stays late to help you clean up.

• A simple friend hates when you call after they have gone to bed. A real friend asks you why you took so long to call.




• A simple friend seeks to talk to you about your problems. A real friend seeks to help you with your problems.



• A simple friend thinks the friendship is over when you have an arguement. A real friend calls you after you had a fight.



• A simple friend expects you to always be there for them. A real friend expects to always be there for you.

I have discovered over the last few years who my REAL friends are! Growing up and having a baby has changed me for the better and my REAL friends accept me for who I am and the mom I have become! They always believe in me, have confidence in me, and are there when I need them no matter the time of day or how busy they are! I love these friends like family and don't know what I would do without them! Throughout this post are pics of some of my REAL friends!
