I made an A

I just finished my first Master's online class from Nova Southeastern University and I made an A!!!!! I am so excited!!! I had done well on my first two papers but I was worried about the last one! I wanted to get an A in this class so bad and I did it! I would not have been able to this without the support of some very important people:

Kyle and Whitney....He has helped so much with her when I had school work to do. I could not have done it without him!! I am so in love with my family!!!

Whenever I get stressed, Mrs. LAH is alwasy there to make me feel better!! Without her constant support and uplifting words, I would be way more stressed out!! She kept telling me I could do it and that gave me confidence that I was lacking!!

Thank you to everyone that has been there for me and helped me along the way! One class down.....five more to go!!!

4 months

Where did the last 4 months go?!?! I cannot believe that Whitney will be 4 months old!! She is the most precious little girl!!! Always so happy and fun!! I love her to pieces!!! Watching her develop a little personality of her own has been so amazing and I know that it will only get better!! Here are a few recent pics of my sweet baby girl!!

This was before her first baseball game. She had to look cute!! :) I love the flower!!
Playing on her mat after a great day at school with Aunt LAH!! Such a happy girl!!

So tired after a long day!! Sleeping in Daddy's chair!! One of my favorite spots!!
Wore myself out when I was playing!! Being almost 4 months old is so tiring!!
I am so in love with this little girl!! I never knew I could love something as much as I love her!!

Update

I know it has been a while since I have updated...I've been busy! Life is good though!

All you other teachers out there, have your students been wild lately?? Mine have!! I am blaming a few different things....candy from Valentine's day, full moon, and the weather change (which I am not complainging about)!

We have had a lot of fun moments at home with Whitney! Last weekend we started rice cereal. It is definitely an experience! She is liking it better now but at first....she would just get mad when we tried to feed her!! But I cannot get her the spoon fast enough!! She gets mad when you take the spoon away.

Here she is trying cereal for the first time....you can see by her face that she is not too fond of it!

She has also start making a lot more noises! She wakes up so happy in the morning and "talking" to us! It is so cute! I can't wait to hear her say "Mama"!!!

Hope everyone has a great week!! We only have to work 2 days this week and I am so excited for the break!!

I promise I will update more often!!

Cricut cartridges

I have blogged about loving to scrapbook and my cricut before....but I am so excited that I got three more cartridges for my birthday! They are Disney one's and I cannot wait to use them in Whitney's scrapbooks!

Winnie the Pooh

Disney characters ~ Mickey and Friends

Disney Classics ~ Bambi, Pinnochio, Alice in Wonderland, and Peter Pan

Now I need the Disney and Pooh Font cartridges and the Princess cartridges! Every little girl needs to know the princesses!

Blessing from Above

God has granted me many blessings in my life. The best one thus far is my beautiful, healthy baby girl...Whitney Reece Gourley! She is the most amazing little thing!

Busy, Busy, Busy

Life has always been busy but it has officially gotten busier in the last few years. When I met Kyle, I was living in Eatonton and teaching and coaching cheerleading in Monticello; so, I spent a lot of time in the road. I tried to spend as much time with him as possible, but with him coaching football, middle school basketball, and baseball there was not much free time. But, I was falling in love with him, so I went games and enjoyed ever minute I got to see him! We spent a lot of time texting each other (our favorite way to communicate). Then, we got engaged. He was still coaching football and baseball and I was coaching cheerleading but I moved in with him in Monticello so I got to see him more. Then we got married....same deal! Well, having a baby in the mix obviously made life a little more hectic (but well worth it!). Now, baseball has officially started so our time together has been lessened and I don't have him home as early each day so I have a lot more that I have to do now. I have gotten so used to him being here around the same time as me, fixing supper, helping with Whitney especially when I am doing school work, and doing other things around the house. So as you can see, I am a busy woman ~ teaching kindergarten all day, bringing home work to do at home because there is just not enough time in the day at school and who wants to stay there late, loving on and taking care of my baby girl, cooking supper, cleaning house, Master's classes, being a wife and mommy, and sleep (which I am functioning on a lot less). Don't get me wrong....I love my life, but I having it be a little less hectic wouldn't be a bad thing.

I love being a coach's wife! I love love love being a mommy!

So what Wednesday

So what if......
  • I could eat chicken EVERY day of the week
  • We eat at the same Hannah's at least once a week
  • Sometimes I just watch Whitney sleep....I'm so in love with her
  • Our dog, Sadie, is like a person....she is very much part of our family
  • I watch Food Network all the time
  • I would rather read children's book....I'm a kindergarten teacher and have a daughter....not to mention that their books are a lot more fun than adult books :)
